Startup entrepreneurs gathered in Helsinki with one question - when is a mobile phone not a phone? Why, when using an app - of course. We are now using our handsets more and more as a 'gate' to access different services, such as shopping, music training, on line health check-in etc. "Forget Silicon Valley,Finland's Slush is a celebration of Europe's tech ascendancy" - #Slush16-view from #Australia https://t.co/ekmcpjS2dm— Suvi Aherto (@suviaherto) December 3, 2016 … READ MORE : http://www.euronews.com/2016/12/05/slush-in-helsinki-shows-how-to-empower-smartphones euronews knowledge brings you a fresh mix of the world's most interesting know-hows, directly from space and sci-tech experts. Quick visit to Helsinki. All clips in this video has been shot by Nokia E7 mobile phone camera. I shot this video mainly to test my new Nokia E7-phone. I first intended to also combine and edit clips by the video tool of Nokia E7 but since it supports only 32 clips (and I shot over 150...) this video was edited on computer by Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0.

http://bookinghunter.com Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland. Helsinki is spread across a number of bays and peninsulas and over a number of islands. The inner city area occupies a southern peninsula, which is rarely referred to by its actual name Vironniemi. The most important places to visit in Helsinki are: Helsinki Cathedral (one of the most iconic landmarks of Helsinki. A neoclassical styled 19th century church, it is a must see for all visitors), Suomenlinna Island (short ferry ride from Helsinki, it has an imposing 19th century fortress. The site is on the UNESCO world heritage list), Uspenski Cathedral (built in 1868, it is Western Europe's largest Orthodox church. Russia's influence is evident in it is red façade), National Museum of Finland (located in a gorgeou...

Heading back to Finland - and specifically Helsinki - was our greatest surprise this summer. As the capital city, it has the attractions any big city offers, yet it somehow retains plenty of small town charm. One of the main reasons is that you're never far from nature. Hop on a bicycle or kayak and you within a few kilometers you'll feel as though you're all alone at one with nature. The fascinating capitals of Finland and Estonia offer a chance to sample each country's history, art, and distinct love of life. We'll start in Helsinki with its Neoclassical old town, modern flair for design, and steamy saunas. Helsinki Travel Guide - Now is the time to come to Helsinki, and it is not only us who think that. Travel and Leisure Magazine, and TripAdvisor among others recommend Helsinki as a travel destination. The Finnish Travel Magazine Mondo voted Helsinki as the Destination of Indulgence in 2014. Here's why: Helsinki has become the city of choice for good living in the past few years. New shops, restaurants, cafés and fun events such as Restaurant Day, when residents open their kitchens to the city, offer great entertainment for residents and visitors. The Culture Sauna deserves a special mention: Where else on this planet can you sit in a steam room looking out at the bright lights of the city?. Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a small gem to be discovered and because of its size and the surrounding areas it can be easily visited by feet. If you want to see the city at its best then you’ve to go in spring or summer when people go for a picnic in the parks, dine on the terrace and hopping from one event to another. Food plays a great role in the city with Michelin stars’ restaurants together with street food all over the place, cafes and more to discover.
